Planned Parenthood NL’s 2SLGBTQIA+ Warm Line is a peer support service run by and for 2SLGBTQIA+ people in Newfoundland and Labrador. If you need someone to talk to, reach out and they will do their best to support you and provide you resources.

The Newfoundland and Labrador Human Rights Commission is an independent government agency responsible for promoting and protecting human rights in the province. We do this by:
- Administering the Human Rights Act
- Investigating and resolving human rights complaints
- Giving legal information to individuals, groups and organizations who are concerned with human rights
- Preventing discrimination through education and training
- Working with community partners
During COVID-19, the Human Rights Commission is remotely operational. Their office located at 50 Elizabeth Avenue remains closed to the public.

PFLAG Canada – St. John’s NL Chapter is part of the national Chapter and Contact network. We actively assist in the recognition and growth of gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender, transsexual, two-spirit, intersex, queer and questioning persons and their families and friends, within their diverse cultures and societies. At this time, we are the only PFLAG chapter in the province.

Planned Parenthood NLSHC promotes positive sexual health and 2SLGBTQ+ inclusion through education, community partnership, information and services within an environment that supports and respects individual choice.
Planned Parenthood remains open. Our services will be limited to:
- Contactless pickup for condoms (lube, dental dams, etc), birth control, emergency contraception, menstrual products, and informational materials. (we have a camera and intercom so if you cannot call or message ahead simply walk up to the door to speak with us)
- Telehealth appointments for anything that can be managed over the phone. – limited in person appointments at the discretion of our staff for those that NEED to be seen in person.
- All education and outreach workshops will be moved online for at least the remainder of February (Alana our education coordinator should be in contact soon if you have a presentation booked to confirm these details). You can still book workshops/presentations.
- 2SLGBTQIA+ Warm Line will continue to operate as normal
